On Saturday April 5th almost 100 visitors braved a strong wind and snow showers to visit the Greenspan Electric wind turbine at Balquhindachy.
The turbine was the focal point of this year’s Daffodil Walk organised to raise funds for Methlick Church and ages ranged from one year to over 80. Though some visitors had come from as far as London, most belonged to the local community.
We were delighted to welcome so many visitors and to have the chance to discuss the project and the importance of renewable energy with our neighbours.
