During September and October The Greeenspan Agency performed an environmental audit of Johnston Carmichael, one of the leading firms of independent chartered accountants and business advisors in Scotland. For ten offices around Scotland, an in-depth on-site and desk-based audit was undertaken of all energy, waste and procurement.
Baselines were quantified from which future audits can be compared and targets have been set in order to reduce Johnston Carmichael’s energy use and waste production, ensuring a smaller carbon footprint.
