The Greenspan Agency are continuing to procure renewable power on behalf of M&S, one of the UK’s leading retailers
Since the initiative began in 2007, a significant number of power purchase agreements have been signed with independent developers – mostly farmers and landowners.
Grant Mackie, Director of Greenspan, announced:
“In 2009 we have been averaging 1000 MWh/month of renewable energy from a selection of wind parks, hydro schemes and biogas units for M&S. By Q1 2010, this will rise to 4000MWh/month and that growth is forecast to continue”
