Greenspan® Electric

Greenspan® Electric , a sister company of The Greenspan® Agency Ltd, invests in renewable energy developments.

• In July 2007 we commissioned our first wind turbine, in Aberdeenshire. In the first year of output it
  • Produced over 2.5 million units of electricity, meeting the needs of over 600 homes
  • Contributed to emission reductions of over 2000 tonnes of carbon dioxide
• In January 2009, we installed two more turbines at the same site
• All three turbines are Vestas V52's, each rated at 0.85MW
• With tip heights of 75m, the turbines conform to the guidelines proposed by the Aberdeenshire Council Landscape Planner and Scottish Natural Heritage
• The renewable energy from all three turbines is sold to Marks and Spencer plc, assisting with a major part of their environmental policy, Plan A
• The 3 x 81m wind turbine development at Cairnmore farm, near Rhynie, has been commissioned. Works were completed on the site in May 2010. For more information on this project please click or here.

Other Developments

• We have a share in a joint venture deal and this new partnership icommissioned a 0.8MW turbine in Aberdeenshire in October 2009.
• We are currently exploring potential joint ventures with other parties to develop and invest in clusters of wind turbines
