Greenspan® Electric LLP, a sister company of The Greenspan® Agency Ltd, invests in renewable energy developments.

• In July 2007 we commissioned our first wind turbine, in Aberdeenshire. In the first year of output it
  • Produced over 2.5 million units of electricity, meeting the needs of over 500 homes
  • Contributed to emission reductions of over 2000 tonnes of carbon dioxide
• In January 2009, we installed two more turbines at the same site
• All three turbines are Vestas V52's, each rated at 0.85MW
• With tip heights of 75m, the turbines conform to the guidelines proposed by the Aberdeenshire Council Landscape Planner and Scottish Natural Heritage
• The renewable energy from all three turbines is sold to Marks and Spencer plc, assisting with a major part of their environmental policy, Plan A

Other Developments

• We have signed our first joint venture deal and this new partnership is planning to install a 0.85MW turbine in summer 2009
• We are currently exploring potential joint ventures with other parties to develop and invest in clusters of wind turbines

• The planning application for 3 x 80m wind turbines at Cairnmore farm, near Rhynie, has been approved by Aberdeenshire Council. For more information please click here
