Ofgem Feed-in Tariff FiT degression figures released for 2014

On 24 January 2014, Ofgem released the degression levels for each Feed-in Tariff band that will take place from 1 April 2014.

These levels are calculated based on uptake of the scheme during 2013.

HydroAll scalesBased on actual data between January - December 2013, all hydro tariffs (with the exception of >2-5MW band) will degress by 5% since deployment levels during 2013 have exceeded the minimum (12,500kW) to trigger a 5% degression. The tariff for >2-5MW installations is set at the RO equivalent level, the total installed capacity for this degression band during 2013 has not exceeded the minimum (25,000kW) to trigger a 10% degression.
Wind0-100kWBased on actual data between January - December 2013, deployment levels during 2013 have exceeded the minimum (13,100kW) to trigger a 20% degression.
>100kW-5MWBased on actual data between January - December 2013, all wind tariffs within this degression band will degress by 20% since deployment levels during 2013 have exceeded the minimum (73,400kW) to trigger a 20% degression.
Anaerobic Digestion0-500kWBased on actual data between January - December 2013, all tariffs within this degression band will degress by 20% since deployment levels during 2013 have exceeded the minimum (9,000kW) to trigger a 20% degression.
>500kW-5MWBased on actual data between January - December 2013, there will be no degression for this band. The tariff for this >500kW-5MW installations is set at the RO equivalent level, the total installed capacity for this degression band during 2013 has not exceeded the minimum (38,400kW) to trigger a 10% degression.
