Cairnmore Community Fund
As of this month (May 2015), our Cairnmore turbines will have been operating for 5 years. During this time they have generated over 31,000 MWh.
In 2011, a year after the turbines were first energised, the Cairnmore Community Fund made its first payments. The Cairnmore Community Fund is an annual community donation to help the schools and local charities of Rhynie, Gartly, Kennethmont, Lumsden and Clatt.
So far the fund has paid out over £15,000 to various projects throughout the local communities, with more than £4,000 expected this year.
The next Fund payment is due to be determined within the next month.
