Renewables Set New Records

In May 2018, the UK passed 10 days of coal-free energy. As of the 4th June 2019, the UK passed 15 days without using coal, that’s 400 consecutive hours of coal-free power generation!

In addition to this, May 2019 provided a months of firsts as records tumbled, prices turned negative, batteries got paid to charge in ancillary markets and the sun was shining.
